The Downside of Arnold Llama...

... is that he takes a LOT of pillow.

Hmmmmmmm....

What has been going on while I'm at work?

Came home from work tonight... no kitty to meet me in the laundry room.

BUT - the door to the cabinet under the sink was open. Hmmm...

Into the fliving room I go. I spy the shoelace.

But no kitty.

Move further into the fliving room. I spy one of kb's skating foot things... (you know, those things she wears instead of tights sometimes)

But no kitty.

Oh hi. Were you looking for me? I don't know who made that mess. But it couldn't have been me. (delicately and nonchalantly grooms face)

Hmmmmmm.

Poor Arn!

Poor little poohlet-kitty! Just can't catch a break.

I came home from work last night and my bedroom smelled like Serious Business. In the litter box was a puddle of dark poop and on the floor of my bathroom was something. Not really sure what. Doesn't matter.

Call the vet. Dr. Thigpen thinks he has an infection so she has me come up and get an antibiotic for him to take twice a day for the next 10 days.

Went to the vet tonight for Dr. Thigpen to check how his eye is doing. Well... just ok. She gave us a new goop for his eye for the next 10 days.

He's still Cone Man as well as Goopy-Eye-Man and Antibiotic Man. Poor thing!

Arnold, the Sweetest Little Poohlet Kitty

I went to bed last night and curled up on my left side - as I usually do.

Arnold climbed up onto my right side and scootched himself so that his front paws were resting on my shoulder. He parked his cone on my face... by my ear.

And purred us both to sleep.

Arnold Eats Breakfast

I took his cone off so he could eat breakfast. He eats while I take my shower.

I was done and he was done so I got dressed. Then I put his cone back on and gave him his eye goop and pill. I was scooping out his litter box when I heard a slide-y / clunk-y noise.

It was Arnold!

He was trying to get the dregs of his breakfast out of the bowl but the cone kept pushing the bowl away. He was halfway across the floor!

So I held the bowl in place while he finished eating. Then I cleaned all the food clumps from his cone.

I Have a Llama

I have my own top-of-my-head-at-night llama.

Last night Arnold had his new cone and his new eye goop, etc. I took his cone off so he could eat but then I put it back on for the rest of the night.

When we went to bed first he crawled all over me and purred. I was laying on my side so he parked on my side with his face parked on my shoulder. He was purring so loud and the cone was magnifying the sound. It was quite loud. Cutely, though.

Eventually, he climbed off my side and started to park on the pillow above my head. We both slept but he was kind of like kb's llama --- he would stretch and I would find an Arnold-kitty leg by my nose. Or he'd stretch and I'd feel an Arnold-kitty leg on the back of my head. It was sooooo cute.

Around 6 am, for some reason I was laying on my stomach. He climbed onto my back and parked and PURRRRRRRRED. It was so cute! Then my alarm went off. Even when I stretched over the get my phone to turn off the alarm he didn't move.

I finally had to reach behind my back and pooh him so he'd move so I could get up.
