Nothing new in Kitty-land

Really, nothing much going on.

Just sleeping and eating and mer-ing.

I just took a peek at Audrey-kitty and she opened her eyes halfway and gave me a killer look.

She must have known I was typing about her.

Signing off in kitty-land.

More to come --- when they actually do something interesting...

Audrey-kitty

So I was on the phone with one poohlet and chatting with the other one and the kitties were napping - Arnold on the 3-people couch, Audrey on the 2-people couch.

I heard a noise! Like a thump!

It was Audery-kitty! She'd stretched in her sleep and fallen off the top of the couch!

She climbed back up and gave me a killer look (it might have been because I was laughing, or it might not). Then she went back to sleep.

This morning my Audrey-kitty alarm went off at 4:30am! Oy!

KB Misses those Kitties

'tis a sad day in KB world. KB missed those poohlet kitties a lot. Mom added those hilarious pictures of Arnold napping, and KB misses them even more even though KB is laughing sooo hard. KB and CB made enough money to get our wii. CB found this nice one, but of course, Dad had to do some research. He searched soooo many stores and they were out of stock. "Hmmm...." we all pondered. Dad thought that there might be a new wii coming out. But of course, because of KB-Ways, KB found out why so many stores were out of stock.

The reason is because these wii's, yes, they're in a high demand in the U.S. That's why. So dad, being Dad, did not go with CB's wii. But instead, this (new) wii from Amazon.com. Well, yes, our wii is on its way. It should arrive during Mom's week on Monday. Hmm...that's 5 days not including tonight/today. Yay! Maybe Mom will let KB and CB go over on the Wednesday after the wii arrives so we may play on it.

That is all KB has time to say.

Another Arnold Picture! He's so cute!

Soooo cute!!!!

New Pictures!

Those Kitties!

I'm sitting at the computer madly working on homework and stuff for Bill.

The crazy woodpecker comes back to mess with the front of the house. Kitties leap onto the two-people couch to investigate.

All of sudden they both rocket off the couch. I've never seen them move so fast!

Well. Then I figured out why: somekitty farted. Oh my oh my oh dinosaurs.

I had to stay because I still had work to do. Thought I was going to pass out.

Arnold Bdot --- Protecting us from WHAT!?!

I'm minding my own business, watchng tv, doing stuff on the computer.

I hear Arnold's "dangerous" growl. What could it be?

He has a book sox in his mouth and he's growling. I go to take it from him, he grabs it between his teeth and dashes into the laundry room. He drops the book sox and stands guard over it. And growls a little. He is NOT happy when I take it.

Now, Mr. Dangerous Arnold is chasing his tail while on the 3-people couch. EVERY TIME he grabs hold of it he falls off the couch and scares himself half to death. He's done it at least three times. When will he figure it out???

That Audrey-kitty!

She's so funny.

So, she was starving and starving, acting like she hadn't eaten in DAYS (when in reality it had only been a few hours) so I decided they should split a Friskies.

"mer, mer, mer! Feed me! feed me!", said Audrey.

Well. Arnold ate all of his lickety-split and Audrey only ate about half of hers. She was wandering around the kitchen mer-ing so I showed her her half-full bowl. Not interested. I put it down on Arnold's placemat. "Oh! What's this? Arnold's food? Well, I'd better eat it!"

So she did.

One cute thing from Sunday

I came out of my bedroom after my shower and two kitties were waiting patiently by the poohlet bedroom door. "Mer?", asked Audrey.

"No", I said, "they're at dad's this week."

"Mer", Audrey said sadly.

Arnold just stood there outside the door, waiting expectantly for me to open the door and get the poohlets.

"Sorry pudding," I said, "the poohlets aren't there."

So I sat there a little bit and petted them and scritched their ears to try to make them feel less sad.

Then I farted. Three times. They left me.

You Will NOT Believe This

I'm minding my own business, watching tv and doing some stuff on the computer.

Miss Audrey Kittikins decides she'd like to park with me.

She is currently in a loaf on my chest. I have to lean back a bit so that she doesn't roll off (pardon any typing errors).

Now she has turned around and her butt is practically in my face as she kneads my pook. Good thing I can type without looking...

Now she is parked - butt high, head facing downwards. I have to sign off...

Arnold-the-snake

I got a burst of energy and felt like organizing the garage. I thought I'd let the kitties investigate the garage and keep me company.

It was so nice outside that I thought I'd crack open the garage just a little bit. Just a LITTLE bit. A TEENY-TINY bit. I swear.

So Arnold joined me happily in the garage and investigated everything. He thought the cracked open garage was interesting but he investigated other stuff, too.

Audrey took a little bit longer to come into the garage. She investigated things v-e-r-y cautiously, as is her nature.

I let them wander around while I put together the shelf I got from the Gribbles for my birthday. I'd take a break every few minutes and count kitties. One-two --- ok, good.

I heard a very strange noise. I couldn't imagine what it was. I glanced at the garage door and there was Audrey, sitting very nicely and politely, watching while Arnold slithered under the cracked-open garage door! Honestly --- he was all squished down and all I could see were the bottom third of his hind legs flat on the ground. Then, whoosh! he was gone.

I was afraid to open the garage door --- I was afraid the noise would make him run away so I dashed into the house and went out the front door. I went around the corner and there he was! Calmly standing outside the garage. He looked a little quizzically at me, like, "how did YOU get there?" He began to investigate the driveway but I picked him up really quickly. He was NOT happy to go back into the house.

I put him down in the foyer and he walked very quickly back to the garage. Not a run, exactly; I think he didn't want to give away his plan. He was going to slither out again! I quickly closed the garage door ---- which scared them both a little.

So, leaving the door closed I finished working in the garage and they finished investigating. When I was done Arnold was actually in the house and Audrey was still sniffing something by the lawn mower. But she let me pick her up and bring her into the house.

They were both so put out by having to come inside that they remembered that they were starving and demanded that I feed them. So I did. Marinated morsels chicken in gravy.
