This morning cb and I played "Pass The Blob" for a bit: First she had Audrey-blob then she wanted to eat so she passed her to me. She ate for a bit (I'm talking about cb) then decided (surprise, surprise) to go to the bathroom (cb did). During this time Audrey-blob got a little re-animated and jumped down to follow cb.
cb came back downstairs with a blob in her arms! She passed the blob to me so she could finish eating. I just held her like a little poohlet (I'm talking about Audrey-kitty-blob) and rocked back and forth. Sure enough, I felt a HUGE kitty sigh and she fell asleep! We rocked a bunch more then I really had to get going and face the day. I put her carefully down on the three-people couch, in a nice little "nest" made of blankets. She was quite hoozy-froozled - she looked like she didn't quite know where she was! She figured it out then got up.
That was all around 8:00-ish / 8:15-ish. Now I'm on the computer and, guess what?!? There's a blob on my lap! She followed me upstairs.
Arnold took a little bit longer to come upstairs. First I got, "mom? where are you?" When I said, "upstairs!" I heard the little Arnold running-up-the-stairs-mer-p. He came right over and gave me a nose rub then went to his pillow to take a nap.

Where's Arnold?
I was minding my own business, typing away at the computer when I heard Arnold ask, "mom? where are you?" "I'm upstairs!", I replied.
We mer-ed back and forth for a while then he got quiet. Then he started talking again. "Arnold! I'm upstairs in my room! Come join me!" then we mer-ed back and forth for a little bit, then silence.
Then he started AGAIN! Sheesh Arnold! What's up with that kitty?
I decided to try to find him, then maybe I could bring him upstairs and he'd settle down. I followed the mer-ing noises and found him in my bathroom!
He'd accidentally shut the door and couldn't get out!
Poor little thing. He was very happy to be let out. He didn't say "thank you", but then again, he didn't fuss at me for taking so long, either.
