Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Me is KB. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Arnold and Audrey are currently lounging on a chair. They are so cute. I carried them back from the vet, they are VERY heavy. Arnold pooped and wee-ed in the kitty-carrier heinously (which is a difficult word to spell). Yes.

Moo. Mom laughed at me because I mooed.

Kitties don't like mint

After a tough night with leaking kitty posteriors, Arnold and Audrey went to the vet first thing this morning. KB was there, too.

The vet decided to give them de-worming medication - once a day for three days - and also recommended children's immodium twice a day until they dry up.

He gave the first syringe and, of course, made it look so easy. The kitties didn't really like it, but they took it.

KB and I went to Rite Aid and got the Immodium. All I could find was mint-flavored. We got home and gave them their immodium.

That's when we discovered that kitties don't like mint. They REALLY don't. But --- they were so hungry that when I put it in their food they ate it.

So far so good. No leaks yet... but we've only been home less than an hour.

Poor Kitties!

One (or perhaps both) kitties have leaky posteriors again. Poor kitties! The vet recommended adding Metamucil to their kitty food. I got some unflavored goop and added it to the salmon feast. They didn't seem to mind. And I think maybe it's working.

We got some tough news about Arnold today - the growth on his ear needs to be removed. Since his ears are so thin they'll have to remove some of his ear, too. So sad!

And his ears are one his best features!

While he's having that surgery he'll also get neutered... Tuesday is shaping up to be a tough day for Arnold. And he has no idea.

They like the new food!

I got home late last night and the kitties were HUNGRY. So they ate a lot. I was very happy to see that.

They woke me up at 6am (again!) to eat. Hungry kitties! They enjoyed tuna with gravy.

Then they were hungry at 8:30 again. They enjoyed mixed grill with gravy.

Now they are running around upstairs. They like to DASH up the stairs and chase each other around cb's bed then into kb's room and around her bed then back downstairs. It's very funny.

I took a little nap yesterday and Audrey curled up next to me for the very first time. It was very sweet. She's really toasty!

Arnold is definitely growing - I need to loosen his collar that he WON'T let me take off. Can you imagine? After all that time taking it off by himself, now he won't stand still long enough for me to.

They like to go into the hall bathroom and walk on the edge of the tub between the two shower curtains. Then they accidentally slip into the tub, which scares them, and they go racing out of the bathroom.

It's veeeeeeery quiet upstairs... I wonder what's going on?

Energized kitties!

They woke me up at 6am to eat. Audrey wasn't so keen on the new food but Arnold ate it up happily.

After that they were absolutely energized. Running around the house, up the stairs, down the stairs, around and around the dining room. Then I heard a huge BANG and heard the mad scampering of kitty feet escaping the scene of the crime. They'd managed to knock down the package of table leaves wrapped in a blanket in the dining room.

They hid for 15 minutes or so before I could find them again and make sure everyone was ok.

I emptied the litter box this morning. Audrey likes to watch. She's been very curious about the process. Arnold --- not so much since he fell into the toilet. When Audrey made a move to leap onto the toilet bowl I was READY. "NO, Audrey!" Scampering kitty out of the bathroom.

I really don't want to have to wash off another set of kitty paws from falling into the toilet.

You should see Arnold sleeping: he sleeps like a guy - all sprawled out on his back, legs every-which-way-but-loose. Audrey looks like a little black ball when she's sleeping.

I'm still waiting to hear from the vet about the growth on Arnold's ear.

Those wild kitties!
I phased out the boiled chicken and rice and phased back in their regular kitty food. It appears that that was a mistake as they made several visits to the litter box during the day. (it's interesting: Arnold does not bury his p**p but Audrey does.)
Feeling sorry for the poor kitties, I went out and got some "Fancy Feast" canned cat food. Arnold LOVED it, but Audrey, not so sure.

Arnold breathed on me later --- KILLER BREATH.
