Oh I love those kitties!
They seemed to be calm the other night so I let them into cb's room, thinking they might park with me. Turn out the light, get all comfy, hear Arnold's little growl. Light on, take a look - he's got cb's ankle brace.
Take it away and put it in the clothes basket. Turn out the light, get all comfy... hear Arnold's little growl. Light on, take a look - he's got somebody's undies.
Take them away and put them off to the side. Turn out the light, get all comfy... hear Arnold's little growl. Light on, take a look - he's got cb's ankle brace again!
Take it away and bury it deep in the clothes basket and kindly ask the kitties to leave so I can sleep.

Walking the kitties
Well that didn't go so well...
I came home and brought in the groceries. I was putting away the kitty food when I saw a black flash out of the corner of my eye. It was Audrey kitty! "fwappa - dee - fwappa - dee - fwappa - dee." What the heck? She had her hind leg stuck in a plastic bag and was dashing around trying to get it off.
I took it off for her and she dashed under the two-people couch.
Then I put on Arnold's leopard harness. He didn't like. But he did think the leashes were interesting. Audrey came out from under the couch and I put the black sparkly harness on her. She was a little perplexed but seemed to be ok. So then I connected the pink sparkly leash. BAM! She ran off like a crazy women - back under the two-people couch. The end of the pink sparkly leash was poking out so I gave it a little tug to see if I could pull her out.
Much to my surprise the leash and harness came out without Audrey! She'd figured out how to get out!
So then I connected the leopard leash to Arnold's harness and held on tight. I carried him outside and put him down on the front porch. He was very scared.
He investigated a little bit but I could see that his heart was pounding fast and he was breathing fast. He was very scared whenever cars drove down the parkway.
He also made that tiger stinky-face. I think he was trying to smell everything. A bird flew by and he wanted to chase it but I held him back. We went into the grass - he thought that was weird - and walked around the bushes a little bit.
Then he investigated the front porch some more. He got himself all tangled up in a spider web so I decided that it was time to go inside.
Audrey kitty was waiting for us inside the door. Arnold dashed under the chair in the foyer and just rested there, breathing, with his heart beating fast. Audrey sniffed him all over - I guess he smelled like outside. Then she groomed him a little.
They were a little jittery - every time the house creaked they jumped, so I visited with them for about 20 minutes and kept telling Arnold how brave he was and telling Audrey how she had such a bad day with scary things chasing after her.
Then they napped on the kitty tower. I know, I have to post pictures.
I looked at them both and said, "Are you hungry?" and pow! each kitty dashed down the stairs and skidded into the kitchen. The ate half a can each of the big Friskies kind - ocean whitefish.
Now they are chasing each other again.

Where's cb?
Oh dear! cb didn't get off the bus at dad's house. Where could she be?
I knew she didn't have her key so I dashed home and ran into the kitchen. "cb! cb! are you here?" Audrey kitty said, "I'm here!" I said, "I know YOU'RE here, I was looking for cb. "mer", she said and flicked her tail and walked away.
Found cb on the trail, walking to dad's. Whew!

Kitties miss the Poohlets
Well, that goes without saying...
The kitties and I had a lovely Sunday afternoon - we watched football, we did homework, we chatted with the poohlets, we watched tennis, we napped. Truthfully, I did all those things - the kitties just napped.
They had a lovely dinner then they watched the Litter Box Show. I decided that the show needed a theme song so I made one up: "It's the Litter Box Show! It's the Litter Box Show!" then I realized that it was the same tune as the Candy-Cane girl. Ooops! Gotta make up a new tune.
Arnold wee'd after I'd cleaned the box all up then I cleaned out his wee. He and Audrey were very perplexed - "where did Arnold's wee go?" They sniffed around and wandered around the litter box for a few minutes trying to figure it out. I put the lid on and took the trash out. When I came back Arnold had pooped in the box! Clever boy - he waited until I had gone so I wouldn't clean it out. And he was right - I was through cleaning out the litter box for the night.
They were very sleepy kitties. When I came out of my room from brushing my teeth they were both asleep in the kitty tower. I slept in cb's room and left the door cracked a little bit. Sure enough, kitties wandered and settled down. Before I knew it I was in a kitty sandwich - Arnold kitty behind me and Audrey kitty in front of me. Those kitties are toasty!
BTW - I took down the doll house so they wouldn't be distracted by it.
They were crazy-psycho this morning - running around, up the stairs, down the stairs, dashing through the dining room then the fliving room. But they finally calmed down. Arnold napped on top of the kitty tower and Audrey napped on the arm of the two-people couch.
They seem to be hungry now - even Arnold keeps looking at me and mer-ing. Guess I'll go feed them.
