The Angry Ottoman

I have a very angry ottoman.

Audrey was just wandering around the dining room and Arnold was parked on the dining room table.

Then she wandered into the kitchen.

At that point Arnold jumped off the table and decided to investigate the kitchen.

Growling ensued.

She dashed under the ottoman and began to growl. Arnold just stood there as if to say, "What on earth in under that ottoman???"  I made him go away.

But the ottoman is still angry.  Serious growling and angry noises.

Oh how I wish they'd get along.

Ninja Kitty

Arnold is a Ninja-Kitty.

Audrey and I were parked in the loft - me on the computer and her on my lap. I see something moving out of the corner of my eye. I take a quick peek - it's Arnold!  What's he doing up here??? He usually doesn't come up here unless Audrey's locked into her bathroom.

Then he creeps around stealthily and I lose track of where he is.

Audrey and I park and I work.

Then I look out of the corner of my eye very slowly and see that he's under the chair right next to us!  Wow!

More working and parking. Then... a very teeny, tiny, kitty sneeze.

What was that?  Audrey raises up her head. Starts looking around.  I start to scritch her ears to see if I can distract her.

No.  Shakes head. I heard something.

She leaps off my lap.  Oh no!, I think.

She wanders over to the top of the stairs and I hear growling. Arnold had managed to escape from under the chair and run down the loft steps!

I fuss at everybody and things get quiet.

Until I hear noises from the kitchen sink...

Awwwwww!

I'm in the loft working and Audrey is still in her bathroom.  Arnold came up to keep me company... and to go exploring through the loft.  He's already walked the whole length of the mini-wall by the stairs. A minute ago he was precariously balanced on the railing above the fliving room (heart attack city for me)

He also investigated the storage area but dashed out when he knocked something over.

He's even been on top of the washing machine.

Now I'm done and I've shut down my computer. Getting ready to go free the Foof and get ready for bed.  Hey - what did I just step on? Was that your tail Arnold?

No!  It was his sock!!!  He brought his sock upstairs at some point this evening and put it by my feet!

That man is Just. So. Cute.

Today's Kitty News

So Arnold was absolutely PSYCHO this morning. DASHING into the kitchen, LEAP up onto the tower then LEAP back down and DASH back into the bedroom. I guess he finally settled down into the tunnel to nap.

So, he's napping - even while I made a smoothie for lunch. Audrey keeps jumping onto my lap and parking then jumping off. She wanted to be brushed this morning, but I guess I didn't do it right because she kept wandering away.

Those kitties are so cute.

Audrey Poohlet-Kitty

Foof was sleeping in the loft, near me while I work. She's all rolled up into a little Foof-ball. I came over to her to visit and she woke up, stretched on her back so I could run her tummy. Her chin and chest were damp! Audrey-kitty drooled on herself in her sleep!

"Mom, you were right"

Oh that Audrey-kitty! She likes to park with kb when kb first goes to bed. Last night she stayed with kb until the wee hours of the morning. KB got and said, "You were right, mom! She IS a bed hog!"

Oh Audrey-kitty!

Mom?

Yes?

Pooh me.

I can't. I have to go to work.

But look at me! Aren't I so cute just laying here sideways on the floor?

Yes. But I still have to go to work.

How about now? Look, I'm on my back with my cute little paws in the air.

Yes, you are adorable. But I still have to go to work.

Really? How about now? I turn my head a little sideways with my cute little paws in the air.
